Show Me the Money!

The 2025 Appropriations Act, the bill that will establish the budget for the entire state of North Carolina, is under way. Different versions have passed the Senate and the House of Representatives. Now the two chambers are working to craft a single version that can be sent to the governor for his signature.

Each chamber has an Appropriations Committee with a website.

Curious about previous budget bills? You can find a link to each year’s bill back to 1961 here.

Additional budget-related documents are available on the website of the NC General Assembly’s Fiscal Research Division.
