Thursday, May 8, was the “crossover” deadline at the General Assembly.
Crossover is the date by which most bills must pass from one chamber to the other in order to be eligible for consideration for the remainder of this regular session (i.e., through final adjournment in 2026). These bills have passed either the House or the Senate and been received by or ordered sent to the other chamber. They have not been voted down in the other chamber.
