Interscholastic Athletics
Subcommittee
Due to concerns regarding the administration of athletics within public schools, the Joint Legislative Commission on Governmental Operations created a subcommittee on Interscholastic Athletics. The Subcommittee evaluated the administration of interscholastic athletics, which included the North Carolina High School Athletic Association (NCHSAA). Evaluating the processes established by the NCHSAA and the financial condition of the NCHSSA was a priority of the Subcommittee.
