When it fails, the results can be catastrophic for families, communities, and the environment. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The General Assembly&#8217;s Joint Legislative Commission on Governmental Operations holds government programs and agencies accountable and ensures that tax dollars are utilized in an efficient and effective manner.
